Doug Gallacher moved to Sydney in his early twenty’s to persue his passion for percussion. Doug joined various cover bands and soon found himself to be a highly sought after Session Musician.

To date, Doug has worked on over 300 albums and associated projects, including countless commercials, movie soundtracks & TV themes.

Doug has travelled extensively throughout Australia and overseas with numerous touring acts including – Adam Harvey, Albert Lee/Vince Gill, B.B. King, David Helfgott, Drifters, Feral Swing Katz, The Four Tops, Garth Brooks, Glen Frey (Eagles), James Morrison, John Farnham, Julie Anthony, Michael Crawford, Peter Allen, Peggy Lee, Randy Crawford, Reg Lindsay, Ricky May, Rick Price, Rhonda Birchmore, Shirley McLaine, Cliff Richard, Slim Dusty (20 Albums), Supremes, Tom Jones & Tiny Tim, just to name a few.
